“Reality is my inspiration. I try to align my mind to it. Simple as that, but dangerous too, for one must understand how fantasy is a mechanism for identifying with the social order.
“As for my meeting with fate, it happened thus:
“Upon a starry even I stepped out for just a moment to myself, to reflect and attempt to get to the bottom of things.
“In the water I passed walking the road I saw my entire village behind me as reflection, and saw too a truth which to this day no one has deigned to understand.
“The truth is this one, but which I already said when I began:
“I saw that what comes from all this reflection—all the lights, the architectures and statues, the pomp and circumstance, but above all the certainty—is mere surface. So I dove in.
“For this they call me the fool.”
